Community Involvement

The HRI Community Care Team, consisting of representatives from all regions of the company, encourages and coordinates employee and corporate participation in charitable events and fundraisers throughout the areas where HRI, Inc. operates and its employees reside.

Some of our recent and ongoing activities include:

• Penn State Coaches vs. Cancer Celebrity Golf Tournament, benefiting the American Cancer Society – employee volunteers, participants, and company sponsorship
• Children’s Miracle Network – employee participation in annual fundraising campaigns and corporate matching of employee contributions.
• Salvation Army Hurricane Katrina and Rita relief efforts – corporate matching of employee contributions. 
• Central PA 4th Fest (one of the largest and best displays of Independence Day fireworks in the country) – Employee volunteers and corporate sponsorship
• Ferguson Township Adopt-A-Road program – litter removal on Blue Course Drive in State College.
• SunnyBrook Meadows Therapeutic Riding – provided aggregate and assisted with the construction of an outdoor horse trail enabling the riders to enjoy nature.
• Corporate donations to the Schlow Centre Region Library and State College YMCA building projects.
• Corporate donations and/or sponsorship of many local youth sports teams, organizations and charitable events.
